Mumbai local train update: Mumbai local train services will be affected from 10:35 am to 3:35 pm on Churchgate-Mumbai Central route due to maintenance work on Sunday. There will be a jumbo block of five hours between the two stations on slow lines.
Maintenance work of tracks, signalling and overhead equipment will be done on the said route for five hours today. The work will be taken on UP and Down Slow lines between the two local stations, said Western Railways in a statement.
“For maintenance work of tracks, signalling & overhead equipment, a Jumbo block of five hours will be taken on UP & DOWN Slow lines between Churchgate and Mumbai Central (local) stations from 1035 hrs to 1535 hrs on Sunday, 2nd July," said Western Railway in a statement.
Heavy rainfall continues create water logging and other problems in Mumbai. In the wake of heavy rainfall, many local trains were cancelled on 2 July, said Mumbai Central, Western Railway. Local trains cancelled due to monsoon alert are DN93005, DN93008, DN93007,DN93010,DN93011, DN93013,DN93014, DN93016, etc
Other than local trains, some mail/express trains were fully cancelled that operate from Vadodra to other Mumbai Central division's stations. Train operation was affected due to the ongoing maintenance and construction activity of railway track in Vadodara division.
“Due to maintenance and construction of railway track in Vadodara Division, the following Mail/Express trains are fully/partially canceled on 02/07/2023. The details of those trains are as follows," said DRM Mumbai Central Railway, WR in a tweet.
